Back-to-School Lunch Hack
For me, one of the worst things about back-to-school is having to pack lunches for everyone every.single.day. After about a week they’re tired of the pb&j sandwiches and of course, the other sides you bought in bulk and painstakingly packed in ziplock baggies ready to grab & go. There’s only so many Pins I can Pin and it’s a vicious cycle that my brain cannot figure out how to escape from.
I get it, we all want variety and no one passed the age of four likes to get the same thing day after day but that’d make the start of my day a whole lot easier. I needed an option that could give my kids healthy choices but without all the fuss and that’s where Ready Pac Foods stepped in to help me out!
Back-to-School Lunch Hack
My lunch hack is simple: Don’t think you have to do it all.
Moms have a lot on their plate and worrying about packing a healthy and different variety of lunch doesn’t always need to be one of them. When there are simple ways of getting your kiddos healthy choices instead of stressing about it, I’ll be waving my white flag. Ready Pac Foods has been making my life easier for the last week and for real, my mornings have been so incredibly nice.
I’m not sure about your kid’s school but for mine, they only have about 10 minutes to eat (which is crazy.) Packing them a Bistro single-serve salad has been a great option because they can quickly open their salad without the fuss of many containers plus, they get their serving of vegetables, dairy, and protein all at once. They go back to the classroom ready to learn and can stay focused.
Ready Pac Foods makes over 30 Bistro single-serve salads so there’s always one that you’ll fall in love with. The great thing about Ready Pac Foods is that they don’t only make salad bowls! They also make fruit platters, wraps, and salad kits which are all equally incredible and filling come meal time. Or if you’re in need of a snack they have you covered there too with their Ready Snax. I don’t have to send my kids off with a bag of cheddar crackers or worse, chips. Instead, they can have healthy choices like the Veggie, Hummas, and Flatbread pack! It’s seriously perfection and my kids beg to have more when they get home from school.
For my husband, the Bistro single-serve salads have been great for him because most of the time he can never sit down to eat and often misses lunch altogether. With his salad, he can eat on the go while still helping the employees that need him. It’s a win-win for everyone.
