We’ve been obsessing over The Jungle Book now that it’s on Blu-Ray/DVD and of course the SONGS! The classic songs make up my childhood so I love hearing them new and with a fun spin on them. My kids have seen the animated film and now the live action and love them both equally. My youngest daughter did ask a question yesterday. “What are bare necessities?” dangit kid. One question a day. Don’t you know that! haha.
Disclosure: I was invited on a press trip for Disney Entertainment. My travel and accommodations were provided by Disney. All opinions are my own unless noted otherwise. No further compensation was received.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature’s recipes
It brought up a good conversation and kept her thinking. I love questions like that. I could just see her wheels turning. But then another question came up, “What’s OUR necessities?”

Really, the foundation of our family is love, of course. We NEED love and love each other hard in our family. We are crazy and the kids fight, my husband and I argue but I strongly believe to never go to bed angry. Also, a big necessity in my life is FUN!
We love to have fun. I love to be goofy and spend as much time as I can with my kids. I use to love the pool growing up but as I’ve gotten older I despise it for some reason. But like clockwork, it starts to get hot outside and the pool water heats up… and I’m out there. Faking it or not, I’m out there. I’ve actually come to enjoy the pool again because my kids love it so much.

And it may seem weird but a necessity in my family is to collect every.single.Disney.movie! I mean, duh. Sorry, we’re obsessed with Disney so just like when I was little collecting VHS Disney movies, my kids and I try to collect every Disney movie on Blu-Ray or DVD. It’s been a little difficult but we’ve tried our best. Goes without saying that we had to add The Jungle Book to the collection and we’ve already watched it 5 times since Tuesday (I can thank my son for that. Has to see it during the day then the girls want to watch it when they get home from school). Read my review here and to see what kind of bonus material you get check out my other review. Neither has spoilers so don’t worry there. You can also head over and purchase The Jungle Book from Amazon and start enjoying this classic brought to life asap!
