There’s always something new and exciting happening at the Disney in both the California and Florida parks and this time of year is no exception. The summer is hotter than ever in Orlando, Florida at all four Walt Disney World parks and I have the inside scoop on where you should go, what you have to eat, and what events are not to be missed.
Incredible Tomorrowland Expo

Starting May 25th and running until September 3, 2018, the cast of The Incredibles is taking over Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom in more ways than one. From the decorations and music inspired by the original movie and its new sequel, you have got to come join the fun over the summer. If you’ve always wanted to visit a comic convention, well, now’s your chance.. sort of. So let’s DASH into the SUPER details.
Photo Backdrops:

You can find four really fun photo backdrops around Tomorrowland. Three of the four backdrops are a popular scene from the original Incredibles movie. You’ll feel like you’re in the movie yourself. I especially love that the cast members didn’t make us feel rushed. Each one took their time, offering multiple pose options and didn’t hesitate to let me use my phone if I wanted to. You’ll come face-to-face with the Omnidroid, The Underminer, glide like Frozone, and feel like a star in front of the red carpet inspired backdrop.

Character Sightings:

Your favorite characters will be walking around the Expo (IE: Tomorrowland) during the Super Party Time hour and while they are not available for a formal character meet and greet with a PhotoPass photographer, you can snag a picture. Another time to catch a picture with Mr. Incredible and Frozone is during the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party. At one point during the parade, the characters come on the street and invite guests over to dance and play.
SUPER Eats:

At five different Tomorrowland locations, you will find some Incredible-inspired eats and treats. At Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe there’s the Super Stretchy Burger inspired by Mrs. Incredible which is features flame-grilled Angus beef that’s piled high with deep-fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, bacon, and garlic ranch sauce. Also at Cosmic Ray’s is the The Super Foods Salad. A kale and spinach salad with quinoa, avocado, blueberries, and pico de gallo. Both so so good!

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies is always the place for sweets but now there’s one more reason, or should I say two, to stop in. Edna Mode’s “No Capes, Just Crêpes” Crêpe Sundaes are out of this world incredible. The first is a chocolate-hazelnut crêpe topped with ice cream and berries, and the second is a blackberry-lavender jam crêpe topped with ice cream and fruit-flavored cereal. And I’m going to apologize for the melty ice cream. Real life photo’s y’all. It was around 95* this day.
Over at The Launching Pad, just try to DISGUISE your excitement for the Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask – a soft pretzel comes topped with black salt! And finally, at the Snack Carts around Tomorrowland, there’s a new sno-cone that’s sure to cool you down on these hot summer days – Frozone’s Sno-Cones a blue raspberry-flavored treat that everyone will love. Oh, who can forget the littlest member of the family? Jack Jack has something for your sweet tooth too! Jack Jack Cookies are freshly baked mini-chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for an on-the-go snack, available at Snack Carts as well.
Dance Party
At the Rocket Tower Plaza stage, it’s the Super Party Time dance party. Typically held between 2pm-7pm, this SUPER fun upbeat dance party includes games, music, and appearances from favorite Incredibles characters: Mr. Incredible, Frozone, Elastigirl (aka Mrs. Incredible) and, for the first time, you can actually see Edna Mode, my darlings! Eda does briefly walk through the audience but if you want a photo you have to be extremely quick because she will not stop for anyone.
Merchandise:

There is a ton of new exclusive Incredibles merchandise at Merchant of Venus. It really is your one-stop-shop for all things incredible. From apparel to toys and even a new magic band, you will definitely find something super for your whole family.

And of course, don’t forget to see “Incredibles 2” in theaters June 15 and check out all of the exciting things happening for Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World Resort!
