Disclosure: This post is brought to you in partnership with JOHNSON’S® Baby and TheMotherhood. All opinions are mine, unless noted otherwise. I was compensated for my time.
As a mother the number one thing that runs through my head is the safety of my children. Having 3 little ones in the house means my time is split thinner and thinner but I always worry. Are they protected from the sun, are they safe in the pool, will they choke on that piece of food, holding my hand tight enough as we cross the street, and even are the products I’m putting on their bodies SAFE for them, along with lots of other worries.
Sometimes I feel as if national brands don’t care about what the people buying their products want. They are just out there to make the products how they want. My faith in humanity is sometimes restored. As it has been when it comes to the #1 brand I use to buy: JOHNSON’S® Baby. They have reformulated several of their products to give parents peace of mind when it comes to bath time. No more wondering what you are putting on your baby’s skin. With JOHNSON’S® Baby, it’s safe! Now I can happily buy our favorite “no more tears” and lavender products again!
As part of the new initiative, the following seven products now have a new formula:
- JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thick and Curly Hair
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thin and Straight Hair
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo with Calming Lavender
- JOHNSON’S® Baby Soothing Vapor Baby Bath
They say they will always committed to listening to moms, and although the products have always been safe, they took a stand and changed the formulas to give us peace of mind. JOHNSON’S® Baby meets their 2013 Safety and Care Commitment to remove formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and reduce traces of 1,4 dioxane from all of the baby products, everywhere around the world. JOHNSON’S® Baby has also removed parabens for most of the new and improved baby products – ahead of their 2015 commitment
The video you see above was made as a way to express their commitment to babies everywhere, a video sharing the promise as a love story to all of us out there. Based on a Japanese legend that folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a hope fulfilled, the JOHNSON’S® Baby scientists came together with their families to create an origami stork mobile. signifies the delivery of babies and the promise to families.
